Funniest copyright license?
From a Debian bug report comes the copyright license for a file from a LaTeX package:
You have to wonder what the author had against telephone companies.

Should copyrights last forever?
Mark Helprin argues in a New York Times op-ed piece that “no good case exists for the inequality of real and intellectual property, because no good case can exist for treating with special disfavor the work of the spirit and the mind.”
Not surprisingly, Lawrence Lessig's community is drafting an op-ed piece in response. In true free-culture style, the response piece is being written by wiki (— and under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike copyright license).
